Chennai Petroleum Corporation Limited produces and supplies petroleum products in India. The company's principal products include liquefied petroleum gas, motor spirit, superior kerosene oil, aviation turbine fuel, high speed diesel, naphtha, bitumen, hexane, mineral turpentine oil, lube base stock, petrochemical feedstocks, paraffin wax, and petcoke. It also provides furnace oil, sulphur, light diesel oil, extracts, and paving bitumen; and propylene, poly butyne feed-stock, methyl ethyl ketone feed, and linear alkyl benzene feedstock. The company was formerly known as Madras Refineries Limited and changed its name to Chennai Petroleum Corporation Limited in June 2000.
